As the Homecoming King and Queen were crowned and the Titan Football team took their regal spot atop the conference standings, the Berea-Midpark Titan Marching Band put on a halftime of royal splendor.
Saluting the iconic rock band, Queen, the Pride of the Titans opened with the 1977 hit, “We are the Champions” and concluded with one of Queen’s early chart busters, “Bohemian Rhapsody.” The show was typical Titan Band style with marching drills and dance routines all powered by Queen’s stadium rock. At the end of the performance, the “Best Band Fans in the Land” showed their appreciation with a standing ovation.
“That was a lot of hard work by a lot of people … a complete team effort,” said Jeff Fudale, Director of Bands at Berea-Midpark High School. “I am very happy for the students.”
There are two videos of the performance. First, our traditional video courtesy of Mike Brewer. The second is a static, wide-angle view from the press box.
