I wanted to make sure I congratulated all the students on a fine beginning to the 2022 Marching Band season.

During band camp we got in 15 hours of sectionals, approximately 30 hours of full music rehearsals, 12 days of marching in the summer heat, a daily ballet stretching routine and an early morning music performance on Thursday.  All of this did a lot to get us ready for Friday Night.

Those things don’t happen without 4 evenings of summer uniform fittings, hours of booster planning and organization, numerous uniform alterations, fundraising, and food donations.  Then there’s feeding and hydrating 183 teenagers for 3 weeks, chaperoning and all the non-performance preparation that goes into a Friday Night home game.

THANK YOU EVERYBODY for a great start to the 2022 marching band season.
