Dear Parents of Band Students:
We are excited to announce that we are planning our first and only concert of the 2020-2021 school year. Students have been working hard this year and will have the opportunity to show off some of the skills they have learned. This concert will include a limited audience at our brand new Berea-Midpark High School Auditorium, 165 E. Bagley Road. The concerts will be staggered so students will only need to be here during their time slot. This will limit the number of people in the Auditorium at one time to ensure safety of the students and audience members. All Covid 19 protocols will be in effect.
Each family will be limited to two family members/child to reduce the audience size and due to the extremely limited amount of parking. Your child will be receiving 2 tickets at school the week of the concert to take home for admittance to the concert.
This concert will also be recorded and placed on the District’s YouTube Channel for future viewing. We are looking forward to this opportunity for our students to perform in our new space and introduce this wonderful facility to our families.
Below is the schedule for the concerts. Students should be dropped off at Doors X and Y, main gym doors, at their rehearsal time and parents should arrive 15 minutes before concert time. For safety reasons, parents will not be permitted to sit in the audience during rehearsal times. All students are expected to participate in this special event. TVLA students are also invited to participate but need to inform Mr. Fudale or Mr. Barth via email regarding their intention to perform. We understand that there are families with serious concern about the current situation and understand if you choose not to have your child participate.
