As the 2022/23 school year nears an end, it is never too soon to start thinking about another dynamic Berea-Midpark Titan Marching Band Season! Exciting music has been chosen to present variety and enthusiasm in all our shows.
While the staff is taking time this summer to prepare for the season, we certainly hope that all the students will find the time to practice. It is imperative that everyone arrives at marching band camp comfortable with their instrument and music.
There are several important documents that you should look for as the new season approaches. All of these documents are available on the “Berea-Midpark Bands” Website by clicking on the document below:

Documents requiring information and signature should be filled out and returned before the end of the school year or on the first day of band camp. Documents should be placed in an envelope with the student’s name on it and dropped in the band booster box located in the band room.
You can also receive emails about information posted on the band website by signing up at the bottom of the homepage where it says, “Stay in the Loop”. Simply enter your email address in the space provided and hit “enter”.
Please note that band fees will again be collected by the school district this year. Information about these fees is detailed in the Marching Band Procedures / Expectations document.
There is a new process for uniform fittings for the coming marching season. For returning marchers, fittings will take place on May 30th and 31st during band class. First time marchers will be fitted on June 1st from 5:00pm to 8:00pm in the band room.
If your student is a first-year marcher, we will hold an informational meeting for parents on Tuesday, August 1st at 7:00pm in the band room.
We will begin summer marching band rehearsals (Band Camp) on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 from 5:00PM – 9:00PM. Picture day will be August 7th at 3:30pm. Band camp will follow at 5:00pm. Please see the 2023-24 Band Schedule for rehearsal dates and times. No rehearsals are scheduled on Saturday or Sunday evenings.
Thursday, August 24th begins the regular season evening rehearsal schedule. Students should set aside Thursdays from 6:30PM to 9:00PM for evening rehearsals. It is the student’s responsibility to be available on these dates.
Students are required to participate in all assigned activities listed on the band schedule. If there is any reason a student cannot participate in an activity, including rehearsals, they must contact Mr. Fudale or Mr. Benzin. Band is an academic course where grades are administered and attendance is taken.
